This is Sanyo news! The warmth of summer has just arrived, the odd chill that was spring is now gone! We got some strange news for you rumor mongers though. It seems that there is a cherry blossom tree atop the Bubble. All attempts to have it taken down seem to have failed. For now it still seems to be under investigation.
It was her first time going to a park that was outside of the district she called home. The summer months was a perfect time to be outside and do whatever she liked. In that case, she was going on a photography spree herself with her own camera in tow. It might've been a waste of time for the average teenager, but photography was one of many beloved hobbies around the world. Alas, there was only so much things to photograph which may or may not have children playing around this park. Either way, it was a quiet, relaxing park where she could collect her thoughts if she wanted to.
Donning the same casual wardrobe and her hair tied into a long waist-length braid, she began taking pictures of the scenery. Thankfully before she went outdoors, she had finished a portion of her homework and could do more when she came back to the house in the rich people's district. When it came to taking pictures of the great outdoors and sending those pictures to her family, she was willing to get on the job. When push came to shove, she would take a picture of anything, even boring old rocks. If other expert photographers came and saw her work, they wouldn't even bat an eye.
Well, even boring old rocks could yield good results if the angle was just right anyway. Somehow, there was buzz around her school pertaining to her existence and rumors seemed to theorize about her entire existence as a transfer student. While those rumors were not inherently bad, she'd rather not garner too much attention and avoid routes where someone could be trying to get the scoop on her.
Summertime in the park was a great time to stretch her legs, show off her summer fashion and practice her photography! With a cool breeze rustling through the trees her short sleeves and jeans were perfect. But maybe she should have gone with the shorts instead, it was starting to get warm out...
Whatever the case, Yukari had her camera out and was watching a butterfly bush closely. Beautiful little insects in a dazzling array of patterns and colors flitted around the flowers and between the leaves. There was a particularly dazzling blue one with black edges to its wings that almost seemed to shimmer in the light of the sun. She took a lot of pictures of that one. New phone wallpaper for her the moment she got home and plugged her camera in to the computer, oh yeah. But the only problem was she got so wrapped up in her subject matter that she didn't realize there was someone else on the path now. Yukari took a few steps to the side to get another angle of the bush and collided with someone else, falling straight on her butt.
But her camera was okay, thank God she hadn't landed on it!
"I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going, I was just trying to get a better angle on the butterfly bush. Look; there's all kinds out today! Check out the...! Oh, he must have flown off..." Yukari trailed off, meaning to point out the magnificent blue swallowtail that had disappeared in the few moments it took to pick herself up and brush off the stalks of grass on her pants. She'd been hoping for a few more but...
"Anyways, sorry I ran in to you. I'm sort of a photo geek so I thought I'd get some shots of the butterflies. Hey... are you new around here? You don't look familiar. I'm Yukari, I'm a student at Mishiro High."
All was well within the park, but someone had bumped into her, causing her camera to be knocked out of her hands and land on the ground. Luckily, said camera wasn't unharmed and the other girl apologized for her clumsiness. She was asked if she was new around the parts, so she responded in kind to the girl. "It's alright. My camera is okay at least, but it is a pleasure to meet you, Yukari. I am Isolde Schroeder, a student of Futaba High. I've come to Japan as a foreign exchange student from Luxembourg, so I hope to learn more about Japan." After saying her introduction, she picks up her camera and dusts it off.
There was a lot of scenery to take pictures of, but she quite enjoyed the wildlife in the area to be photographed, whether they liked it or not. "I assume you also dabble in photography? Perhaps I shall be asking about photography lessons if you would." She was at least decent in the world of photographs but not on the level of a very professional photographer. Despite not being on a professional level, she was at least mindful of how much memory her camera was holding before she could delete unsatisfactory pictures. Aside from the pictures of flowers in a garden, she thought the other pictures were at least satisfactory.
Although photography seemed to be a hobby of sorts, there seemed to be a class that taught photography all across the globe which would be a point of interest. At the moment, a class like photography was merely an elective which could be taken later. Still, taking such a class would be able to expand her horizons during the course of her adolescent life, so it was prudent that she should learn as much as she can during her stay.
