Aoi is built like a beast, and makes no attempts to hide her well-toned muscles. Her tawny-coloured skin is peppered with scars of varying severity and age, though she's yet to acquire any that are particularly nasty. Aoi's hair is dark brown in colour, and is a shaggy, uneven mess. The longest parts fall well below her chin, while the shorter areas are still more than long enough to fall into her eyes. Said eyes are a bright, gold colour, and are usually narrowed in displeasure. Aoi has an impressive case of resting bitch face... Though in her case, she probably is angry at something. [break][break] As far as clothing goes, Aoi leans toward the casual side of things. She likes plain, form-fitting t-shirts, which usually get paired with a set of baggy, black jeans. She wears a pair of scuffed-up combat boots year-round, and is also never seen without a pair of black, finger-less gloves on her hands. In cooler weather, Aoi wears a slim black jacket with a high collar. [attr="class","app-faceclaim"]

Aoi's appearance already gives people pause when approaching her. The scars on her exposed arms and the sullen look on her face are usually more than enough to ward off even the most friendly of folks. There's a vibe to her that screams danger!, and most people are smart enough to take heed of that.
[break][break]
Those who are stupid -- or brave -- enough to approach Aoi will find someone who is... Oddly calm. She won't display any positive emotions, and anything negative is usually watered-down to mild annoyance. She'll speak in even, measured tones, and for the most part, behave like a rational human being.
[break][break]
But do not, for even a second, assume that Aoi is a rational human being.
[break][break]
Beneath that calmness lies a hair-trigger temper that will explode at the slightest provocation. To make matters worse, what sets Aoi off will differ from day to day, person to person, situation to situation, and so on. Due to this, it's nearly impossible to predict what will set her off, which makes interacting with Aoi a bit of a gamble. Her reactions don't help at all, either; her conflict resolution skills are impressively shitty, ranging from the cold-shoulder to throwing punches. To her credit, she usually settles with yelling and cussing, but it doesn't lessen the potential dangers of interacting with her. Aoi is volatile and violent, and anyone approaching her should do so with a great deal of caution... Or, at the very least, a readiness to defend themselves.
[break][break]
The kicker, too, is that Aoi thinks this behaviour is perfectly justified, perfectly logical. To Aoi, her reactions are just that -- reactions. In her mind, the other person was the one who started the fight by insulting her. Yes, that's right -- every time Aoi flies off the handle, it's because she's perceived something as an actual insult. She is extremely prideful, especially when it comes to matters of strength and ideals. She's also very mistrusting of others, and always expects the worst from them. This ugly combination has made Aoi downright paranoid about injuries to her pride, and as a result, she tends to imagine insults where there are none. That's why asking something like "can I help you carry that" is likely to incite her wrath -- Aoi doesn't see it a statement like that as coming from a place of kindness. To her, that sort of thing implies that she is weak, that she can't take care of herself -- and she'll be damned if she lets someone get away with thinking that of her...
[break][break]
...Because, honestly, Aoi doesn't have a lot going for her. She's strong, good in a fight, and a damn good cook, but beyond that? She's got nothing. And although she refuses to admit it, she's painfully aware of this. It's what drives her aggression, her desperation to prove that she's tough and strong and can handle herself... Because, if she's not strong, if she's not good in a fight, then what is she? What's she good for?
[break][break]
The answer to both questions is "nothing". And that is, without a doubt, what scares Aoi more than anything. But she doesn't know how to fix it, doesn't know how to separate her personality, her identity from her strength. So instead of actually acknowledging her own weakness and finding a way to fix things, Aoi has just continued to make her strength the cornerstone of who she is, and protecting it at all costs from those who would dare to call her weak.

[attr="class","app-section-title"]Equipment [attr="class","app-section"]
Brass Knuckle Gloves: Aoi's weapon of choice is a pair of fingerless, black gloves with brass knuckles built into them. The metal that lines the knuckles is hidden under a thin layer of fabric, which conceals them nicely and gives the illusion that these are just normal gloves. In Prisons and other supernatural areas, the metal breaks through the gloves in a series of short, jagged spikes. Deals strike damage.
[break][break]
A Thing: Aoi stores her magnetite in this.
[attr="class","app-section-title"]Notes [attr="class","app-section"] - She will go out of her way to avoid children -- she doesn't like kids much at all. That said, if forced to interact with them, she's noticeably more patient, and kids 14 and under can get away with saying just about anything to her. Older kids aren't given as much slack and may get yelled at, though it will still be pretty tame. They're just kids, after all; they can't be held to the same standard as adults. She also tends to be more lenient with the sick, injured, and those who are generally weaker than her. It's hard to take insults from those folks seriously.[break][break]
- Aoi cuts her own hair. Suddenly, her horrible haircut makes sense! She doesn't cut it often though. ...Which may or may not be a good thing.[break][break]
- Don't let her bulk fool you; Aoi is fast as hell. What she isn't is agile -- she can hit you before you know what's happening, but she can't dodge to save her life.[break][break]
- Her fighting style combines boxing and wrestling techniques, and leans more on raw power than finesse. Aoi also prefers punching to kicking or grappling, but if she's in a bind she'll do whatever she can to win. While she usually favours a head-on approach, Aoi will also play dirty if it looks like she might lose.[break][break]
- Aoi is an excellent cook, but under no circumstances should you try any of her baking.[break][break]

[attr="class","app-section-title"]Description [attr="class","app-section"]
A Great Marquis of Hell, Marchosias -- or "March" as Aoi likes to call him -- takes the form of a blue-grey, winged wolf that can breathe fire. He also has a human form -- that of a tall, blond soldier clad in Roman armour -- but he much prefers to remain a canine. Aoi prefers it too. When not in combat, March appears as a silver-white Siberian husky who is by Aoi's side more often than not.
[break][break]
Much like his master, March is a demon of few words, and tends to only speak when spoken to. He's quite calm and patient, but will turn into a fearsome attack dog the minute Aoi gives a command. His loyalty knows no bounds, and any attempt to sway him from Aoi's orders will result in failure. This is as much due to his nature as it is his contract. Much of March's time is spent on the alert, watching and listening for any potential threats to his master's safety.
