BasicsFull Name: Yukiko Sorcha Korikyuden Nickname(s): Yuki Age, D.O.B.: 24, 22nd of December, 1995 Gender: Female Class: Persona User Arcana: Sun Grade/Career: Owner of Euphoria Dance Studio Ethnicity: Japanese-Welsh Family: Ciaran Llewellyn (father, deceased), Sakura Korikyuden (mother), Hideki Yamikuro (step-father) AppearanceFace Claim: Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova (Fate/Grand Order) Standing at just over 5'2" with a slender frame, porcelain-white skin, and a gentle visage, Yukiko is sometimes described as almost a doll in appearance. When she is in remission, she enhances this perception with a delicate and poised gait. Her ice-blue gaze can at times been seen as sharp and acutely perceptive, but behind them is a playful, intelligent, and curious light. Her pure and pristine white hair reaches down to below her waist, framing her soft features in a way that is reminiscent of a snow maiden. Indeed, on at least a couple of occasions, she has been accused of being a mythical yuki-onna on snowy nights. Nevertheless, her features seem to transform with her emotion - her neutral expressions are almost blank, akin to a doll's, but her sadness and melancholy can become overpowering, whilst her joy and enthusiasm seem to make her shine with an inner brilliance. When not involved in teaching her students or dancing herself, Yukiko tends to appropriate rather regal clothes of a wintry fashion, unperturbed for the most part by the temperature outside of scorching hot weather. It has a distinct eastern-European style to it, something she adopted more recently thanks to her step-father's gifts from his travels - she finds it wondrous in a novel sense, even though it drags stares every so often. She is also often seen holding some kind of doll - a memento from her childhood that she has grown rather attached to, despite the obvious 'childishness' of retaining such an object on her person. She cares little for the criticisms of it though, as it is one of the last reminders of her biological father. PersonalityLikes: Dancing, old folklore and legends, dolls, writing, and snow Dislikes: Blistering heat, wealth for wealth's sake, backstabbing opportunists, overburdening others, broken promises Hobbies: Dancing (both taking part in, and teaching), reading old tales & literature with heavy political or fantasy elements, writing stories, walking the city during the cooler portions of the morning and evening Goals: To develop and sustain a successful dancing studio company, and to continue teaching students in it despite her illness; she also desires to write and publish at an amateur level, mostly for circulation & exposure rather than profit Thanks to more recent developments, Yukiko has become rather outgoing, a naturally friendly and inviting demeanour her norm for everyday encounters. Whilst this is not entirely constant, for the most part, she seems to have a spring in her step, an inner brilliance radiating a genuine sense of accomplishment and happiness as she meets new people, indulges in her hobbies, and teaches students in the things she's passionate about. Even so, it can be said that there is an air of poise in the way she conducts herself; whilst she is warm and friendly, she also seems to fall into a naturally regal disposition - a product of her upbringing for the most part. She's happy to engage with people about a wide range of topics, to debate for both fun and intellectual curiosity, to dance and prance, and generally enjoy life as much as she can. However, there are times where a bleaker, harsher version of Yukiko comes to the fore; when her illness flares up strongly, or the stress eats away at her for long enough, she will fall into what she can only describe as a 'bad period'. Whilst becoming more rare, these moments reveal the underlying pain and suffering that has transitioned her to where she is in life. Not a true bout of depression, it does still cause her to withdraw a little, focusing inwards more, requiring more sustained effort to converse with others in a friendly and engaging manner. She has come to understand that these times are normal for her, that they do not define her, and that they help remind just how far she has come. Not least of all, they remind her just how good the 'good periods' are, and it drives her to continue onward in the hopes that she will see fewer and shorter bad periods as time goes on. At the core of things, Yukiko is a resolute optimist, maintaining that sadness, pain, and suffering are part and parcel of the pursuit of happiness, and that they should not discourage her from recovery, and seeking greater things. However, it was not always that way... HistoryEquipmentNotes
