[attr="class","infobg"] [attr="class","infoTitle"]Plot [attr="class","infoBody"]Year: 2022 The city of Sanyo is a diverse metropolis inspired by different parts of Japanese culture, and to a lesser degree various parts of the world. However, the diverse opinions of the city's residents is as much a curse as it is a blessing - many schools of thought clash among its business and political figures, and this trickles down all the way to Sanyo's everyday citizens.
As of late, the city has been suffering from inexplicable weather phenomena where some sections of the city suddenly lose natural light. What's odd is that devices, electricity, and so on continue to function. Other times, a fog seeps into the city at night blanketing sections of it before suddenly disappearing. What isn't common knowledge is that on the rare occasion, people go missing for a day only to turn up the next barely conscious...
...Save for a lucky(?) few. What lurks in this town and why? The answer, I fear, is yours to discover.

[attr="class","infobg"] [attr="class","infoTitle"]History [attr="class","infoBody"] Back in 1991, after the crash of Japan's 1980's Economic Bubble, a city was built to try to give those affected by it the jobs and standard of living they had during those times. The people behind the city wanted to build a city where everyone did their part and worked their hardest in crafting it to the best place it could be. Even going as far as to name its districts after the Sun, Moon, and Stars.
The city would not achieve what it sought per se but it became noteworthy as a hub for business both domestic and foreign. The city would change and adopt what would be considered the best ideas from these businesses to try to improve the best they can.
However, with these ideas come complexity. Not everyone is welcome to change and over the years of Sanyo City's growth, further updates and policy adoptions have become difficult to agree on. The only improvements made in recent years have been in the city's education policies.
Sanyo City is divided into two rough halves by a large river called Amanogawa. The Sun and Moon districts lie nestled together on the western half while the Star district rests in the center of the eastern half. Large plots of land are yet available for occupation and development on the eastern side of the city, but due to constant squabbling by business owners and politicians, the land remains mostly unclaimed. These undeveloped sectors form the outskirts of the Star district and the city proper. A massive ten-lane bridge known as the Sanyo Bridge hangs over the Amanogawa and connects the Sun and Star districts.
