Ringo Shiro could be described as someone who has good intentions is matched in how stubborn he is. He will reach out to help others with narry a hesitation and will do so with the best of his abilities but he isn’t approving of obstacles in that help. He is a confusing boy filled with a lot of idealism but also pessimism. He can’t ignore someone who is in a bind but he also has been deeply hurt and depressed by previous events. Ringo wants more than anything for his desire to help not to cause harm or be worth at least something.
The past as a resulted, created a young man who is dedicated to a proactive but teetering on dangerous ‘greater good’ mindset. If action needs to be done, he’ll be the first to step up but that will often make Ringo unpredictable or create situations where he shouldn’t have stepped in at all. This proactiveness is what got him in trouble in the first place, but he doesn’t seem to see it that way. In the face failure, he comes to the conclusion that he didn’t do enough and continues forward; despite the scars that path will give him.
HistoryRingo Shiro was born to Chizuru and Tsuneo Shiro, the former a literature teacher at ASame University and the latter a hard working café owner. The happy family was situated in the Sun District of Sanyo where Tsuneo thought it would be the ideal place to open his Café, Café Zuzu. Growing up, there was but one desire Ringo had and it was to help others. Was it naivety? Altruism? Ringo disregarded the origins and wanted to chase that purpose.
Most would either go the path of simplicity or realize the complexity and give up but not Ringo. He learned about social services and thought about what type would best suit him to help others. He would eventually decide on being an attorney. To help defend the accused and put the guilty behind bars.
He would graduate high school and move on to get a law degree at Kanoko University. He would quickly be known for being a serious minded but social first year. This would all come to an end where Ringo chased a case he wasn’t supposed to.
Ringo would pass by a house on the edge of the Sun district on his way to the Star district. He could always yelling from the apartment. It didn’t seem like his business at first…but the fact that he heard it frequently was starting to make him concerned. He would take it upon himself to investigate as he asked neighbors and locals.
He’d gather that this occurrence was every week, the child of the house hold has been seen limping, and the yelling is usually from one voice, the father of the family of two with the wife recently leaving him. In an act of naiveté, he pursued the case and got a neighbor to press charges.
The case ended with a not guilty verdict for the accused. The evidence was only ‘accounts and misunderstandings’. The child of the man was not even asked to testify. When Ringo protested this out, the defense attorney asked what is his relevance to the case, can he prove it, and should he even have the right to ask such things when he is only a witness and doesn’t even know the family. Ringo wasn’t clear what happened but he remembered having to be physically restrained and yelling from both him and the accused.
Ringo was charged with harassment as soon as the neighbors stated it was his idea to press forward with charges. His parents paid for the charges much to Ringo’s own shame. Confusion and questions fell upon the Shiro family. The only thing that was certain is that Ringo Shiro could no longer pursue his major due to the story of his contempt of court being known.
At the end of his first year of college, Ringo moved out of his parent’s home to hopefully ease any burdens. He tried to remain completely independent but they were going to support him from a distance regardless if he wanted it or not. As he was moving in he overheard on the news that the man was arrested for trying to steal money from the large company he was working for…the only mention of his abuse of others be the child he hurt or the people he took advantage of is only said in gossip. Ringo was a mix of feelings. On one hand, he is paying, it is preferable than him going unpunished at all …but for some odd reason he still felt mad.
However, those are feelings he is going to have to settle down the road. Feelings are feelings and he can’t let them weigh him down. He has a new living space, a new job, and now he has to think of a new way to help people now…
EquipmentRingo usually does not carry any armaments around him but upon the unlocking of his Persona, he is granted a white 'metal' model pistol that has only 8 shots when he enters a Prison. Outside the Prison, the model appears rusted and unusable.
Notes- Despite a distaste for listening to/reading the news, he gets nervous if he doesn't check for long periods of time.
