It was a Friday evening, and the night was young. Which meeaannt.... drinking! Like many businessmen and college students who could finally embrace the weekend, Jun chose to do this with drink and the lively company of intoxicated strangers at an izakaya. He wasn't looking for a partner, no – that was what the club was for – but a drink and some amiable talk and the chance for gossip were all free game, which was more than enough for him.[break][break]
"A beer for me, please!" he called amid other similar calls for food and drink, and before long, he was happily settled at the counter with a filled tankard in hand. In a way, if he had to think about it, this was also a form of work. Gossip wasn't exactly the most reliable information, but it served as a good starting point to look into, especially given the amount of incidents that were occurring in the city as of late. A strange mist, and disappearances... Spooky, wasn't it? It was all enough to make him laugh.[break][break]
Propping his head up with his elbow, the devil summoner lazily surveyed the interior of the izakaya. Was there anything going on tonight...? Someone to his left held out a tankard that Jun dutifully tapped his own against, followed by a long sip and a foam mustache. He briefly entertained keeping it before licking it away. Surely something interesting would catch his attention sooner or later.
