This is Sanyo news! The warmth of summer has just arrived, the odd chill that was spring is now gone! We got some strange news for you rumor mongers though. It seems that there is a cherry blossom tree atop the Bubble. All attempts to have it taken down seem to have failed. For now it still seems to be under investigation.
Julius stands at 5'8 with pale white skin making him look rather frail. Due to the fact that it is easy for him to be cold, the male also often wear jackets and coats, even during the summer. His gray eyes are usually dull that one can say they look lifeless until there is something that catches his attention. Despite the fact that his face usually remains neutral, it is usually his eyes that will give away his thoughts and emotions. Julius also has raven black haired but the tips are highlighted white, something he did in order to appease to the spirit he is contracted with.
At first appearance, Julius may seem to be a constantly busy social butterfly. The male walks at a quick pace and almost always seem to be on his phone. In truth, the male is someone who is rather withdrawn. He doesn't like to talk to other people and only feels comfortable talking to his guardian spirit. The phone is nothing more than a ruse in order to not attract too much attention, the fact that people seem to assume he is busy and not interact with him is merely an additional benefit. When one does talk to him, much to his chagrin, he can appear to be distant. His words are usually short and there are usually pauses in them as well. The fact that he tries to cut conversations as quickly as possible would most likely dispell any previous notion of the male being a social butterfly or it may even seem as if he hates the person he is talking to. In truth, he probably just hates the fact that he has to talk to someone in general. He also avoids talking about himself, especially his past, and because of this, he can seem very distant.[break][break]
Despite the fact that his eyes do not often hold very much life in them, Julius is rather observant of his surroundings and the people around him. He can notice subtle movements the person he is talking to have or strange oddities in his surrounding. This is quite helpful when it comes to his job as a private investigator. The male is also rather passionate and should one find out his passions, they may be subjected to having to hear why the subjects of his passions are objectively something everyone should be passionate about. It is usually in times like this where one can actually see life in the male and he would gladly hold a conversation without feeling the need to think through his words but to merely talk.[break][break]
While his speech may appear to make him appear lethargic, and his slow reactions in social settings also support the case, Julius is actually a hard worker. When he has decided on doing something, he will do everything in his power to see it through. This coupled with his determination can make him rather stubborn. Regardless of how pointless his current objective is at the moment, he will make sure to see it through. If his current investigation job is to find someone's lost cat, you bet he will wander all day and night until he finds the cat. [break][break]
Those who are close to Julius will find him to be very honest, even if it does often, unfortunately, come out as blunt. When discussing his passion or talking to those close to him, Julius has less of a filter. They will also find a loyal friend who will do his best to keep their well-being safe. He is also the type to be able to openly admit to friendships and his admiration for them. However, it is getting to that stage that is truly the hard part due to his withdrawn nature.
Julius is the second born child to Charles and Suzumi Vesper who are a pair of police officers. As a child, Julius was rather shy and would often hide behind people he feels comfortable with. However, like many children, it is not exactly hard to win over his trust. He has his fair share of friends at school, that while he was never the popular kid, he was certainly not the recluse that he is now. However, at the age of seven, Julius got into a car accident. He doesn't remember much about it, in fact, he doesn't remember much before it either.[break][break]
When he woke up, it was to an unfamiliar white room of a hospital surrounded by somewhat familiar and yet unfamiliar people. The doctor informed the boy and those in the room that he had retrograde amnesia. The man was not sure if it was temporary or permanent but there was a chance he may recover. The doctor had also asked Julius a few questions in order to test what he remembered. He remembered his name and he can vaguely remember the other people in the room. He knew that he lived with them or at least he had memories of them in his house. He understood that they were his family but he did not feel the close connection they seemed to feel with him. It was after a series of questions, questions that were very tiring to the young boy, did the doctor tell him what had happened. He was walking with his parents when he ran across the street because he had spotted a dog. A car had hit him and he was very fortunate the car had apparently slowed down enough not to kill him.[break][break]
Mom became Mother and Dad became Father. His older sibling, he only called by their proper Japanse title rather than their name. He couldn't remember most of his friends but he did remember playing with people at school from time to time. Yet, the kids who came up to him when he came back asking if he was okay from his hospital visits had only caused Julius confusion and frustration. He couldn't remember their names and just like with his family, he couldn't feel the closeness that they were supposed to have. Unable to handle the stress, his parents took him out of public school and decided to homeschool the boy. His lack of many memories were not the only changes in his life, Julius started to hear and see a fox that others couldn't. His family simply thought it was an imaginary friend and sometimes played along with him. The fox was a constant in his life, like his family, but there was one difference that gave the boy relief. There was no past memory between him and the fox, there was nothing familiar about him and it at all. No lack of memories that caused him frustration and so Julius often found himself being much more comfortable around the fox. There was also the fact that he didn't feel as if the fox was just waiting for him to remember the same way his family did.[break][break]
After a year, the family saw that Julius did not recover very much of his memories. Their once shy but still active child became withdrawn from them. There was always a sense of distance and it had been hard for his parents to know that their son does not share all the same memories of their time together as them. Nonetheless, they tried their best to bond with him when they can. However, Julius talked to them more as acquaintances than as family outside of calling them by their proper titles. At age nine, Julius went back to school and while some of his supposed old friends (according to them and his parents) had come up to him the first few days, they were quick to move on and play games without Julius. The fact that the boy often refused to play with them and seemed more interested in his books and talking to his imaginary friend. School was hard for him due to the fact that not only did he have to get used to being in areas with higher density of people, he also had to get used to not being the sole focus of the teacher (which was usually switched between his mother and father). It made the beginning months hard but soon Julius became something of an average and recluse student.[break][break]
It was in middle school when Julius found his love for photography. His parents had been urging him to join a club due to the worry that Julius did not seem to have any friends in school. The fact that he had let go of his childhood friend at a much later age did not help. In truth, Julius never did truly let go of his childhood friend, he simply communicated with them behind his parent's back. Still, in order to appease them, the boy had tried various clubs. He found those in the book club to read too slow and too many of them having 'idiotic ideas' in his mind, he refused to join any sports team due to the time commitment, and he didn't like the idea of performing in front of others or the cooperation it took in order to join the drama club, choir or music club. In the end, he joined the photography club and found that outside of meetings to compare photos and for the president to list the next prompt or idea, Julius did not have to interact with the members very often. Even better, was the fact that Julius found himself enjoying photography. It gave him a sense of cataloging what he saw and while it may not help him remember should he be unfortunate to lose his memories again (as his parent's attempt during his childhood had taught him), it was a record of what a "Julius Vesper' saw.[break][break]
With the end of middle school came to high school and Julius once again found himself joining the photography club while still living as a recluse. His parents were worried but any attempt to urge him to make friends was met with the male flat out ignoring them now. Upon graduation, something Julius found himself stuck with a problem. School had given him something of a routine, but now that he was entering adulthood and having to make his own decisions, he was unsure of what to do. That was when the fox suggested for him to be a private investigator. He was found of mystery and as a private investigator, he wouldn't have to truly work with others as much. Honestly, it sounded like a good idea and because Julius didn't have any other plans, he figured he might as well.
Currently, Julius doesn't have any equipment. However, his spirit is able to summon a gun (pierce) for him should he need it.
- Honestly still has no idea that his 'fox friend' is actually a spirit he made a contract with in order to survive the accident. He honestly thinks its just a figment of his imagination and therefore, an extension of his thoughts that is in a form of a fox. Yeah....he is also pretty sure he is not sane but has long since cared about it as long as no one else knows.[break][break]

Kitsunes can vary from story to story depending on which legend one follows. In some stories, they are malicious sadistic creatures that love to play tricks on humans for their own amusement. In other stories, they are guardians or lovers to those who have shown them love and kindness. Because of this, it is hard to tell if the appearance of a fox can be seen as a blessing or a curse. They are also stated to be able to take the form of a beautiful human woman or a handsome human man as well. Dogs, their natural enemy, are usually able to scare them back into their true forms.[break][break]
Kitsune was the spirit that contracted Julius in order to save the child and acted as his imaginary friend upon the discovery that he has lost his memory. The fox is quite amused by the circumstance with the boy not knowing the nature of their contract. Instead, the boy seems to believe the fox is a figment of his imagination, an extension of himself and that is something the fox certainly takes advantage of in order to guide Julius into doing what they want him to do.
