This is Sanyo news! The warmth of summer has just arrived, the odd chill that was spring is now gone! We got some strange news for you rumor mongers though. It seems that there is a cherry blossom tree atop the Bubble. All attempts to have it taken down seem to have failed. For now it still seems to be under investigation.
The small raging ball of adventure that was Chiyo Chikabane looked down at the list in her hands. Using one hand to brush the ear of her hood away from her line of sight, she examined her list once again. There was no telling what sort of things she needed if she wanted to go on a proper quest into the demonic fog, but she had at least some idea of what to get. Medicines primarily, such as basic healing ointments, disinfectants, maybe even some anti-venoms really. And then there was stuff like snacks and drinks. He had been waiting for this game for years. He was so high on cloud nine that he ignored all weird glances and snide remarks from Odin as he skipped his way to the bubble.
As Xander made his way through the strangely busy mall he noticed an all too familiar sight: big. black. bunny ears. He stared at the phenomenon trying his hardest to remember where he had seen them before.
On tv? No that didn't sound right. Back in the states? Nope. In some random jrpg? Probably but no.
Then it hit him, he had seen those ears at school on a classmate. He didn't actually know the classmate in question but he knew of them. And that they were a huge otaku. Always one to make new friends, and fangirl about pogeymanz, Xander walked over to say hi.
"Hey bunny ears," Xander half shouted as he got closer
