Tsunami JousukeStanding at about 5'11" Xander looms over most of his peers. Coupled with his toned and muscular body from years of training in kendo and just regular old weight training he can seem imposing. However, when looking upon him for the first time his size isn’t the first thing you see. The most noticeable feature on Xander is his pink spiky hair. For the most part he isn't one to worry about appearances. He believes in comfort over appearance, opting to wear whatever plain colored t shirt and pants combo he can find. His clothes are usually neat and clean. When performing live he prefers to wear all black to give himself that edgy lo

He is a pretty laid back and easy going guy. It takes a lot to actually anger him as he just laughs off most situations. Brave and determined to the point where he’s reckless. Failing to think before he acts on multiple occasions to the dismay of his guardian spirit.
Competitive and goes all out. Using the old adage “all’s fair in love and war” to justify crushing his opponents, no matter who they are, in whatever it is he’s doing. He believes that he can achieve anything. Not cocky or thinks he's the best. rather he just thinks that no matter how far the goal or how tough it is to get there he can attain it. Good sense of humor but mischievous at times. Loves learning and is easily excited by new things. A bit of a flirt. Straight forward to the point where he can be blunt or rude
HistoryXander’s story, like most, begins with his parents. His father, a smooth talking producer, met his mother, an up and coming singer. While initially there for work the two hit it off and fell in love immediately. Within a couple of years the two got married and moved to the states.
Being born to two musicians, he was inclined to fall in love with music as well. He loved every genre: rap, rock, even country. He picked up some other non musical hobbies as well the main one being kendo. He joined a dojo not far from his house and was relatively good at it. Xander enjoyed his times studying the blade while other kids were outside fooling around. As he advanced into his preteen years he started to write his own songs, and would even freestyle rap with some of the other kids at lunch.
One day after school he went into the city with a couple of friends. The group met up with some older children they knew from the neighborhood and decided to all hang out. As they walked through the city Xander noticed a car slowly following the group down the street. When he pointed it out to the group one of the older boys got noticeably nervous and took off running. As he did the car sped up catching up to the group. And in an instant the windows were rolled down and shots were fired into the group. One of the boys stood still too petrified by fear to get down. Xander pushed him onto the ground and in the process took two bullets: one to the shoulder and another to the heart. As he hit the ground the world went silent the last sound sound he heard was the car peeling off. His friends rushed to his aid pushing on the wounds to stop the bleeding and calling for an ambulance.
The world faded away leaving him floating in a sea of darkness. As Xanderlaid there he wondered if his time was truly up. In the distance he heard a faint voice. He cried out to the voice asking who was there. In an instant a cloaked figure stood in front of him. It was an old man with a white beard that easily reached his chest. The old man stroked his beard and looked down on the boy and gave a hearty laugh. “Stand up boy. Your time is not yet up.” He opened his mouth to speak, but as if he read his mind the elderly figure said “I am the Allfather Odin.”
The cloaked man hit his staff on the non existent ground, and in an instant he was awake in a hospital bed surrounded by his teary eyed friends and family. After the brief reunion he was informed that the bullet just barely missed his heart and for all intents and purpose he’s very lucky to be alive. In the back of his mind he heard a voice say “luck had nothing to do with it.
After about a month in the hospital his life finally went back to normal. Well as normal as it could be with a Norse god living in your head. Though distracting at first life with Odin became pretty comfortable. Odin became something of a mentor to the boy, sharing his vast amounts of knowledge. Sometimes helping him pass tests for school. After bonding with odin his proficiency with poetry and songs increased tenfold. It was less that he was better at writing them but more so that he could do it significantly faster. He was able to create rhymes and extended metaphors in fractions of the time it took him to before. While his skills with a spear and sword also increased, it was only by a slight margin. In Odin’s own words “I really like poetry.” After the bonding Xander also gained the ability to read runes and use runic magic. He’s still not used to it because he’s basically learning a whole new language he’s steadily making progress with the help of Odin’s teachings.
Towards the end of his middle school career his family moved to japan because of his father's job. Xander wasn't all that sad about moving. Japan seemed like a cool place, it had anime AND ramen how could it not be. And, he already knew the language. It couldn't be any worse than getting shot. So his family moved to Sanyo city’s Sun district. As he later found out, some Japanese people don’t particularly like foreigners. While the discrimination wasn't done outright some of his peers still alienated him for being different. It didn't bother him all that much. He really couldn't care less about what a few people thought.
After the move he quit officially practicing kendo much to Odin’s chagrin, but he continued making music. He even went as far as buying a recording mic so he could upload his songs online. He started writing some of his songs in Japanese to try and appeal to a more Japanese audience. As he entered high school he gained something of a following both online and offline. With his newfound “fame” he started to make more friends at school and in the community.
