This is Sanyo news! The warmth of summer has just arrived, the odd chill that was spring is now gone! We got some strange news for you rumor mongers though. It seems that there is a cherry blossom tree atop the Bubble. All attempts to have it taken down seem to have failed. For now it still seems to be under investigation.
Whilst they had both pulled back a bit, the pair were nevertheless closer than they started - physically, and emotionally on Chidori's part. Some part about sharing the blanket with Maria as she began to shuffle the sketchpad back onto her lap, picking up her pencil again to resume the sketch, made her feel comfortable. It was lonely, after all, not having any friends to rely upon for company, and the brunette had been silently suffering through that ever since she moved to Sanyo. It seemed like now, she might have finally started to change that with the golden-eyed woman's help.
Given the subject of the missing piece was right here beside her, Chidori tried to draw in such a way that Maria could look over with ease, allowing her some room for commentary and suggestions if she so chose. Even if she instead remained quiet, letting the brunette draw solely from the well of her inspiration, Chidori would occasionally pause to think and 'chat', wanting to keep the warm and comfortable atmosphere going for a while longer yet - at least until Maria had to leave, of course. Still, the bubbly young girl that had been crushed and folded underneath layer upon layer of misery and tragedy seemed to emerge, albeit sporadically, in times like these - hopefully a sign for the better, for her recovery. She even asked a few questions, refraining from anything particularly probing, in an effort to know a little more about Maria herself; casual conversation with signing was a little awkward sometimes, but she wanted to know the Golden Rose's proprietress better after all of this, and if it just so happened to help delay her departure too then that was a welcome bonus.
