hello! i am absolutely hideous at formatting these, but here we are, with a dog pun, and me, with a plotter. i'll split this into sections if i happen to ever make more characters, but for now, this is the mamochan Plot Station. instead of a relevant header, a nice layout, and a cohesive design... YOU'RE GETTING THIS. - Friends: Generally, this is pretty easy to qualify for when it comes to Mamoru. He's kind of a pushover and a worrywart about other people, so even if he's cagey and withdrawn ever since being disowned he still wants to check up on people and make sure they're okay? Has your character lived in Sanyo since childhood like he has? Elementary school friend? Middle school? High school? He'll probably still check up on you. He's never been a standout or a class clown or any sort of genius, a very 'average' student- not even necessarily bland, but simply one to be obedient and keep his head down until recently, but if you think your character would remember him then go for it! He no longer participates in track, which was his only real school activity, but if you go to any store in Sanyo Mamoru's probably working there or has worked there at some point over the last three-five months, so coworker and customer encounters are likely. He probably seems a bit flaky to some of his coworkers depending on the job, honestly, as he bounces between a lot if they're seasonal or fill-in based and not year-round- the more stable a position and the less dispensable he is, the more he prioritizes that particular job (unless somebody starts to get suspicious, then he's Gone). He tries to be friendly if approached in a friendly way if only to defuse any uncomfortable situations before they can start, but he's definitely not as open as he used to be.
- Enemies: Mamoru isn't very confrontational- quite the opposite, honestly, he's very avoidant and terrified of drawing speculation and suspicion- but if he simply rubs your character the wrong way, that's totally fine! He wasn't much trouble in school, but he's definitely gone from projecting 'average well-behaved firstborn son' to 'truant rebel' in his third year. Again, if Mamoru notices himself on somebody's malice radar he's going to constantly try to exit out of the situation whenever and wherever possible, but I can definitely see him especially drawing ire and disdain from anybody who's not fond of punkish-looking types, students snoozing in class, loiterers, etc.
- Romance: I will say that Mamoru is bisexual! But. His current relationship status is sheer anxiety. He's so absorbed with "I got Ayame pregnant" that honestly all I really have to say on this front and any attempts at it until he finds some resolution is this.
Confirmed Dog-Spotting (TM) Locations So Far: Naganoodle, Bubble... just... anywhere in Bubble, honestly, it's a shopping complex, there's always going to be something there that he can do for cash.

If Mamoru has worked all over Bubble there's a good chance he's seen Kaoru around (if not then Kaoru has definitely noticed him, what with the punk attire and him literally being there all the time). Seriously Kaoru embraces the punk scene so hard he'd be instantly aware of Mamoru if he walked into a room.
Kaoru has lived in Sanyo his whole life so there's also a good chance they knew each other in middle or elementary school even (Kaoru was a bad kid so didn't go to the same highschool as Mamoru). The bookstore only ever really needs one or two part-timers at a time, since it's privately owned and pretty small, but it has places to sit and a quiet atmosphere if Mamoru ever needs a place to chill.
