It took a few hours before a reply was sent. That was one of the things about her job; it wasn't like she could have her phone on her person during a shoot.
It's good that you have your cell service back, senpai. Did you talk to your service provider about that?
Is there anything I can do for you?
Some things never translated well through text messages, but Ringo wouldn't be far off the mark if he thought that Shion's reply was a tad unenthusiastic. |

It was a tense wait. Even some of his co-workers at work wondered why Ringo seemed to operated like the customer was going to punch him in the face. It was only when his shift was finally over did his phone finally rumble in notification of a text. He arched an eyebrow and began to type 'Wait what are you-...' It was then the meaning of the first text finally processed for him. Ouch.
I wanted to apologize.
You don't need to do anything, I just want to say I'm sorry for charging into the mall without calling you first.
RIngo earnestly had no excuse and it wasn't like he can cook one up right now, not when he is across the phone like this.

Well now. That was something she hadn't heard that day atop the Bubble. Why it was coming a few days late, Shion had no idea, but perhaps the absence of it was exactly what had made her so agitated over the whole thing.

Not accepted. At least not yet.
I mean, there might have been a perfectly legitimate reason for not telling me about it. Maybe if you tell me the reason I'd understand.

She regretted the harshness that could be possible perceived from her message the moment her fingers pressed the SEND button. Heaving a sigh, she scrambled to send another one.
Look, Shiro-san. I don't mean to keep pressing you for what you did. It's done, what happened on the Bubble is over. For now, at least, and it's why I'd like to move past that. What are you planning on doing next? |

Ringo pondered as he waited on her next text. He paused to consider but decided to make his intentions blatant.
I still plan on investigating the Prisons. I'll inform you everytime I find one...but for now I got to make up for this.
Further pondering.
Are you free this weekend? I know a nice place at the Star Shopping Street
This should...hopefully make up if he pays. Ringo pondered about his meager earnings though. Didn't Shion said she was a model? This might not be enough...

Well they both had the same plan, it was just a matter of sticking to agreements. Shion would love to say that Ringo's apology meant that he would rely on her assistance moving forward, and that she could depend on him, but that really, remained to be seen.
Making amends was another thing though. She was about to type that she didn't need to be made up to, but her fingers paused when the invitation came.
Yeah, alright. I can go meet up with you at 9.
Whatever he had in mind, she'd at least go see it. |
